Hi everyone. I'm long overdue writing an update on what I've been up to. Finished the succulents. These were painted inspired on a photograph I took in my mother's garden, during a warm summer in Portugal. How I miss Summer!
Just for fun, I made a record of the time I spent painting them. It took me 52 hours! It is my longest painting ever. There were moments where I thought I wasn't going to finish, but on those moments I put the painting away, waited a few days, and then went back at it. I'm glad I didn't give it up.
It is 29 cm high, 37 cm wide.
Hope you enjoy these succulents as much as I do. Happy Saturday!
